- I’m sneezing like heck, coughing out germs and all things unmentionable, and forced to abstain from eating all things delish and scrump
- but at least I can live

- currently watching Kick-Ass—again
- I still consider it the technical story of my life, yah know
- snacking on Skyflakes and Gatorade as I do so
- planning on watching Hocus Pocus later
- reading the new comic books I bought last week
- get some drawings done, perhaps
- watch Seinfeld again (oh how that beloved show about nothing is missed)
- watch Law And Order: SVU
- finish up that Noli Me Tangere powerpoint that’s taking me forever to do
- (yes, I do realize all these are very unorthodox things for a sick person to be doing)
- so much for attempts at becoming the “ideal-student”
01. Favorite Batman Hero/Heroine

Good evening, commissioner.
I adore Commissioner Gordon, really.
Of all the good guys in the entirety of the Batman franchise, I’ve gotta say he’s my favorite. Mainly because he doesn’t need a suit to be heroic or to prove himself a stalwart character in this business.
Plus I dig the moustache.
The first Batman comic book I’ve ever read (and probably the first serious comic book I’ve ever read which expanded this whole obsession with panels and “KA-POW!”s in the first place) was Hush, and in those scenes where Batman really leveled with Hush or any bad guy, Jim stepped out of the shadows and saved Bruce from the worst. If you look at it that way, I actually like him a lot better than Batman himself.
Though I’ll be honest, he’s not my favorite character (sorry Jim). Yes I know, he’s got the awesome moustache and everything, at his staunch command he could send shields and SWAT teams flying out of the Gotham City Police Department into wherever, and unbeknownst to him, his kid becomes Batgirl. But he’s not really the character I wait in long lines for just to get a toy of or the character that makes every geek pump their fists in the air every time they come across him.
But I still love the moustache.
